A Quick Way to Find the Merger & Acquisition Activity of a Company

Posted by nlgiu on September 29, 2008

One quick and easy way to find a list of a company’s merger and acquisition activities is to check the CorporateAffiliations.com database here:

http://www.corporateaffiliations.com/subscriber/quickSearch.asp

First, click on the ‘MergerTrak’ link on the left hand side of the screen.  Then, once on the ‘MergerTrak’ page, type in the name of the company in the middle search box.  The box on the left has merger status options to choose from which include pending, closed, completed, and cancelled.

The ‘MergerTrak’ link also includes detailed information on those companies which have been acquired by or mergered with parent firms.
